Bangkok and Pattaya: how many days do you need?

For a first trip, plan 4 nights / 5 days: two nights in Bangkok and two in Pattaya. That gives you time for the main sights without rushing, and it is the length of our Bangkok + Pattaya package.

A 5-day Bangkok and Pattaya plan

• Day 1: arrive in Bangkok, transfer to your hotel and rest. Keep the evening free.
• Day 2: Safari World, a full day out that is easy for families.
• Day 3: visit the Floating Market in the morning, then drive to Pattaya. Spend the evening on Walking Street.
• Day 4: a one-day island trip by boat, with swimming and time on the beach.
• Day 5: a Pattaya tour with a Tamil guide (minimum 4 members), including a museum and temple visit, then the transfer to the airport.

Should you stay longer?

With 3 nights you would have to drop either Bangkok or Pattaya, so the trip feels rushed. With 6 or 7 nights you can add another destination: our Bangkok + Pattaya + Phuket package is 6 nights / 7 days and adds the Andaman coast.

What if you only have a long weekend?

Choose the Bangkok Escape (3 nights / 4 days) and stay in the capital. You can add Pattaya on a later trip.

Sightseeing order may change with traffic, weather and opening days. Day 5 assumes an evening departure flight.
